Shameless KUAR promotion

Reminder: It's KUAR pledge drive. It concludes Friday, but Rosi Smith of Children's Hospital and I will be doing our begging tomorrow (THURSDAY) from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., rather than our customary closing day slot. I'm off Friday for son Fritz's senior (!) year parents weekend.

I'm asking for help, of course. Call 569-8485 or 1-800-952-2528 to make a pledge, or do it online at kuar.org

If you mention the Arkansas Blog when you call in a pledge, I'll match it up to $10 per pledge -- and, to get the governor's press secretary to place a rare call to fellow blacklister KUAR, up to $100 for Alice Stewart.

Good luck Max...

If any of you haven't already, call or go online and make your pledge.

By the way, Warwick did a great job the other day while his counterpart, ol' what's-his-name, hacked the English language to pieces...as usual...

NPR/KUAR is my #1 source for news (and information). I know the majority of us on this blog must be listeners, so we should all be supporters.

I have a couple thousand dollars worth of the coffee mugs. Can't bear to throw them out.

"NPR/KUAR is my #1 source for news..."

...well, not counting the blog.
