Slow blog day

Sorry for not posting more today. I left Little Rock early this morning to drive to Fayetteville to participate in a panel discussion about ... blogging. And Max is still out of town.

Just got back to the office and I hope to catch up quick.

And if you're driving, please be careful. It's treacherous out there.

Sounds like you need a good ol' hot meal consisting of Little Smokies, cabbage, black-eye peas and cornbread after a messy sloppy road trip like that! One of my favorite Little Rock artists says that is the best meal for a day like today. If you ask, I'll bet she'll cook it for ya!

And, a great job you did Warwick. However, I came back to add you guys into my newly discovered bloglines tool, and I can't find you guys sending them a feed.

Again, thanks for coming up!

Why I enjoy Halloween

Well, phooey!

If I had known you were passing thru Warwick, you could have swung by my house and had a delicious breaded pork tenderloin, cheesy vegetable medley, macaroni and cheese and apple sauce all doctored up with extra sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. We had plenty and I outdid myself tonight if I may be so bold as to pat myself on the back.

If you don't mind a little dirt and some very unmannerly crotch sniffing dogs, my house is always available as a rest stop for my friends at AT.

It was a good day here, I had my teeth in most of the day and there was no saxophone practicing going on. Just email ahead if you can next time and I'll put down a new layer of plywood on my sagging front porch floor.

I think Max will have to use the side door though. (Note to self....make Max use the side door.......)
