State Fair sets attendance records

The Arkansas State Fair ended on Sunday just short of setting an all-time record for total attendance, but it tallied several single-day attendance records.

Total attendance this year was 433,062 for the ten-day event. The all-time record is the 439,848 counted at last year’s fair.

The opening Saturday set the single-day record with 82,373 attendees. This year's fair also saw the largest Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday crowds.
