Watching the money flow

Both political parties are recalibrating their political spending in the final days of the campaign, but the interesting fact here is the number of states where the Republican Party is being forced to spend money to defend its incumbents. They've apparently given up on holding DeWine's Senate seat in Ohio, too.

LA Times looks at whether fervor of evangelicals can save Sen. Rick Santorum. Let us hope not.

I don't get it. They write off some seemingly key Congressional races yet send big shooters down here to help A$a. What's with a small state's governor's office?

Looks like the Repubs are performing some sort of political triage to see who they can save. Their emergency room just may be overwhelmed and the infected too far gone for hope.
