For Joy!

Who freakin' cares?

What on earth is this world coming to? Do you all realize there were 4 breasts hanging over our news? Doesn't KATV know that somewhere in the Bible it says only penis bearing men can read the news off teleprompter properly.

Next thing you know Dan Rather will be replaced by a damn woman!

Friends don't let friends vote uninformed. Watch the closing arguments from the Lindsley Smith v Cephus Richard debate for House District 92.

Thanks for including that YouTube link. Watching Mr. Richard demagogue gay marriage, the Arkansas Civil Rights Act, and immigrant issues was very insightful. It was also very helpful to hear Mr. Richard (a current student, I believe) explain how his various student internships make him a superior candidate to Lindsley Smith, a mere college professor and incumbent state rep.

The only thing that would have been more helpful is if Mr. Richard had included a link explaining why a student from Pine Bluff should be favored over a woman from Fayetteville in a Northwest Arkansas house race.

Keep up the good work.

here's the link you asked for 11:25am.

By the way, the point of bringing up gay marriage/Civil Rights Act was not to make gay marriage the issue. The issue was that a legislator proposed legislation that went against what voters decided by a 3-1 vote just months earlier in Arkansas.

Female newscasters are fine, just don't have female sports reporters. Watching a football game with a female roaming the sidelines giving commentary is about as appropriate as having a male giving play-by-play commentary of the birthing process.

There's probably a better analogy out there but it escapes me at this chauvinist moment.

I do not mind two women anchoring a news caast, but am offended by two men anchor set-up, because that was the norm a generation ago. So, I just do not watch two men anchoring a newscast, becasue it is sending the wrong message.

The two women anchor setup is the treand apparently happeinging across the country and it is just a matter of time when a two female anchor set up occurs in Indiana. It is already happening in New York, Philadelphia, Washington (DC), Houston, Cincinnati, Louisville, and South Bend.

Unfortunaley, there are only three markets where two men are anchoring a newscast: Houston, Indianapolis (until Febuary 5, 2007), and Peoria.
