The Washington Post follows former Washington insider A$a Hutchinson on his campaign rounds in Arkansas. The feature is friendly, though it acknowledges his campaign appears doomed. I believe there's less fallout in this race from Republicans' national problems than the article suggests.

GOP making fake calls to
harrass Democratic voters
The Republican Party has been making millions of automated, fake phone calls to households, giving the strong impression that they represent local Democratic candidates. Some people are getting two, three and perhaps even eight harassing phone calls, called robo calls in campaign-speak. The purpose is to anger people into not voting for Democrats.
