That's Our Dick
Did you see George Stephanopoulous' ABC News interview with Dick?
Poor George was damn near paralyzed with fear by that death-ray sneer, but he did manage to ask the guy a couple of questions. One involved Dick's take on increasing public opposition to the Dick administration's Iraq war policies and strategies.
Paraphrasing here, but what Dick seemed to respond was that the Dick administration doesn't care what the public thinks. He said that the Dick administration would continue its present "strategy" in Iraq, no matter what the outcome of Tuesday's election.
Then he sneered again and George wet his pants.

i don't blame george. its too bad he can't say fuck you on tv to him. i liked the way cheney said he didn't care what the citizens thought, they were going to do what they thought was right, i guess even if it was totally bat shit crazy. sorry for the language, i don't usually resort to this but even bush doesn't bring out the absolute venom that cheney does. the man is ablolutely the least caring individual on this earth. he will deny he said something while watching a tape of him saying it. he is pure evil and he doesn't care. there. is that enough, does that make my point? have you figured out that i don't like the guy?

I'm glad I missed it. I don't want to be in the same country as Dick Cheney, must less the same room. He is one scary MF to say the least. I don't think GWB has a position. His position is whatever Cheney tells him it is. If there are war trials, I think GWB should get life in prison instead of the death sentence. We have mostly quit executing the retarded for following orders.
But Satan Cheney should be publicly executed because he is the great evil behind the curtain. I believe he believes everything he says. I believe he thinks with all his heart that governing the world is absolutely none of our business.
It's like most white's views of blacks 100 years ago. Poor little child-like Darkies, don't give them to much to think about, their little brains can't handle it. Just feed and water them and beat them if they get out of line. Thanks Mr. Cheney for letting me know a little of how it must feel to be a slave of yore.
The year 2007 will be Cheney's annus horribilis. By New Year's Eve of that year Cheney better be looking thru iron bars for our own protection. I don't think the founders of this country could have seen an evil pack of wild dogs like we have today, like we know as the Bush administration or they would have written in the steps for blanket impeachment.
So we have to knock them off one by one by one....I can dig it. Think of it as removing cancer cells one at a time. It's not the perfect or fun way to do it but hopefully there is a cure at the end of the treatment. And if the rest of the world is to ever be safe, we need to find that cure as fast as we can.
I am sorry at times that I am not a praying man. If I was I'd spend most of the day praying for something to happen to Bush and Cheney. A loose step, a falling safe, a bolt of lightening, an over-sized bite of steak. Our country needs a break, a piece of good luck, a fighting chance of survival. It will never happen as long as we have the Bush administration. It's just going to get worse and worse until our country sputters out of existence.
We have a chance to give Bush-Cheney a little poison pill this coming Tuesday. Look at your kids and grand kids just before you go vote. Think of them spending the rest of their lives in BushWorld. Think of decades and decades of the type of misery we've had these last 6 years. Imagine them as slaves to Corporate America without any rights because Bush-Cheney stole them away while we slept.
Kinda foolishly, we've always believed that right wins over wrong in the end. Well....this is very nearly the end and it's high time right starts winning a round or 2. If Rove and Diebold will only allow the will of the people to be heard this Tuesday, we can be neo-con free by the start of 2008 and then we can elected good people to carry US out of the wilderness and on to a better life for everyone on the planet. Vote smart! Save the world!

Don't sweat Dick, he is just an echo of the Cheyenne Club barons that started the Johnson County War.
They thought they were Gods, too and found they had to call in the U.S. Army to keep them from getting killed when the citizens had had enough.
Unfortunately or fortunately, as your bent may be, Dick's already assured that the Army can come in to save him, their busy in Iraq.

DBI thanks for pointing out that Bush is still the cheerleader from Yale, turned pimp. Cheney is a chickenshit at best, and prime chickenhawk. Sure MSM puts wimps like Stephanopoulous up there. Do you think Cheney would have agreed to go up against someone like Dan Rather? No, you only see Cheney on the Bush-FOX network, Lush Gumball or with wimps like George S.

dbi i am still afraid to talk like that until after the election. i really thought by midday of the 2004 election we had won. i have a bad heart and by that night i went into depression for days. i am taking this as i now watch hog football, like a zombie, quietly and hopeful but i never yell either way. you can bet i will yell if it is over. it is a bad way to watch a football game but i can't get my pulse up or the shock box in my chest will give me a thrill i don't want and bush or the hogs are not worth it.

Hang in there zonker, you've got to hold on long enough to see the guilty punished and the country returned to it's rightful owners. After that I'll slip over the edge with ya.

Yeah, Dick is a manly man. Lots of courage. He had his chance during the Vietnam War to prove he had gonads but he found 5 deferments to hide his manly jewels behind. Much like Slimebaugh, George Will, Patrick Buchanan and most of the other bearers of "stay the course."

I watched it and the man is certifiable. George asked the right questions...but to no avail. Every question was met with generalized quips touting how well the war was progressing...how they were the only thing standing between us and bad people (and they were doing a heckava job too). Cheney and Rummy's continued assertions about how well the war is going make them every bit as nutty and delusional as that naked Emperor...if not more so. Their delusions are so contrary to reality that my anger toward them is being replaced by a desire to comfort them on their way to the sanitarium (I'm weak, I know).
