Minority majority leader
Sen. Tracy Steele has been elected majority leader for Democrats in the state Senate, the first black to hold the role. But does that make him the leader of The Brotherhood?

Since the "brotherhood" as
you call it is the majority, then
that would be the case.
Perhaps you'd prefer a
Republican be given the role
of majority leader as well?
Would you support
making the most senior
member of the US House the
Speaker instead of Nacy Pelosi?

No. It makes him the leader of a group of Democrats who agree on little if anything. But was Steele picked before or after he joined the Brotherhood? My bet is it was quid pro quo.
