Sharper Image
Richard Thalheimer, the Little Rock native who founded the Sharper Image gadget retailer but who's been removed as CEO, has reached a settlement worth $6 million to walk away from the company without further legal dispute. Roby Brock has the details at Talk Business.

Nice sum, but I noticed that the Morgan Stanley CEO just got a $40 million year-end bonus to STAY with the company.

So does anyone know?
What was the rub between Thalheimer and the corporation? Why was he ousted?
And isn't that ionic breeze contraption really just a fan in a fancy package with a fancy price tag?

Why? He virtually destroyed the company's image with those tacky TV commercials. They should have started a different company with a different name. "Sharper Image" was never something you would see on infomercials. It will take a long time to undo the damage.
