Do as I say
Rep. Mark Martin (a leading creation "scientist" among other favorite nut agendas) is almost too easy a target. But nonetheless you should enjoy Delphi's fish-in-a-barrel target shooting of the Prairie Grove flash this morning. The rep who skipped out on the 2006 special session on education for a lobby-financed educational trip to Pakistan was the sole vote in committee against a resolution encouraging, what else, international education.

It's in our wonderful anti-carpetbagger constitution that the General Assembly must meet for 60 days every two years. Art. 5, sections 5 and 17.
Is it time to get serious about a public referendum to change it to two days every 60 years?

Since Bonzo Benny appointed a real wingnut to chair edification committee (Kenny, RW Siloam Spgs)
Mr. Martin will surely make one more attempt at Creationism, ID, or whatever new name they are attempting to peddle religious beliefs under. Bet on it.

If Stalone can do Rocky XXX, surely we as a state can handle "Epperson vs. Arkansas II - This Time, the Design is INTELLIGENT!!"

My favorite part:
"So how, short of using medical terms, can one explain such bizarre and inconsistent behavior?"
Nice work.

I've had it up to here with these flat earth non-scientists. Maybe Mr. Martin should try Nascar.

Martis is terrifying. Like all these other myopice snake-handlers, he seems to believe God chose him to deliver His message. He's a true believer that could make Holt look like Ted Kennedy. This guy needs to be relegated to nothing by the Speaker. I don't want him to have any chance at staying in government.

Sure way to make a windfall: If ignorance were like oil ($55 a barrel) and you had drilling rights on Mark Martin's head.

Thanks Lwood,
The first four lines in section III sum up religious freedom in the Constitution.
Concise and to the point.
Beautiful.
