Speaking of Iowa 2008

Hillary Clinton is working Iowa currently (undoubtedly different crowds that Mike Huckabee will assemble next week) and the NY Times political blog has a number of items on her visit.

"Hillary Clinton is working
Iowa currently..."

It's interesting. A few days ago someone, I think it was Cato, reported on an e-mail he received with a negative report on Obama. I jokingly wrote back that I didn't know Cato was on Hillary Clinton's e-mail list.

Now I see that Fox News is saying that it WAS Hillary's campaign that released the story about Obama going to a radical Islamic school as a child.

It's going to be a dirty couple of years coming up here and I hate to see it happen.

And Fox News will do all it can to make sure, as J.R. Ewing would say, that if there are no skeleton's in Obama's closet, they'll put 'em there.

Theres a time to talk sweetly to members of the opposing party, and a time, when sweetness has failed, to slap them smartly across the face. President Obama has not yet learned this important lesson, to the detriment of his presidency and the nation. Gov. Mike Beebe, a more experienced lawmaker, has it down. /more/
