well there goes my theory about a "soft-landing" (sideways promotion) for Tim Griffin... I guess he is too "tainted" so they went with the "Confidential Assistant to the Assistant.. from Customs and Immigration"... now there's a reservoir of competence.
at least she may be familiar with Clinton (Mississippi : )

Ok, "Confidential Assistant to the Assistant Secretary" is gov-speak for Head Errand Girl. I heard that CHad Rocket nor Cooper was hired b/c they are considered to close to huck. Looks like the RPA might be stuck up S*%& creek if Huck was to win.

Interesting. Now both parties
are run by out-of-stater's. Not
wise choices in my opinion
give our state's dislike of
political outsiders.

No she did not get fired. Her hard work and invaluable contributions to the Department of Homeland Security will be missed, but she believes in the Republican Party of Arkansas and has been called to serve. As someone who grew up in Little Rock and still calls it home, I know that there are some serious changes that need to take place in the party. We no longer have a Republican governor and that makes our state that much more vulnerable for the 08 presidential elections. Maybe Karen is just the person to bring an outside view to the table. Her leadership and communication skills, her work ethic and dedication, her strong sense of duty and her productivity will all come to be recognized and appreciated in Arkansas soon- even by those of you who seem to have no faith in her. Just wait.
