Griffin enabler gone

Is there deeper meaning? Don't know. But TPM notes that a White House aide who worked to get Karl Rove's altar boy, Tim Griffin, installed to do White House bidding as U.S. attorney in Little Rock, has left the building.

ironic that just week before last the WH was using the term "slow bleed" ?

i'm beginning to think that the longer Alberto stays, the more "good" will come from it.

UPDATE...

Waxman issues subpoena for Susan Ralston (the 2nd most direct connector of the Abramoff/USA's/Alt. E-mail accounts issues

Conyers/House Judiciary Cmte interviews gaggle of DOJ operatives this a.m.

Sara Taylor resigns this a.m.

.... and going again back to week before last when the "leak" (lie or not) of prospective AG replacements was supposedly being conducted by the WH... what if the leak was true, and they cannot find anyone to take Alberto's place? (i mean, who but the most ambitious of second raters would want the job now?)

All my life I've loved to see Friday coming! But today I'm sorry we even have things called weekends. Imagine how many Bush administration officials could testify against each other without the interruption of a weekend.

The White House canaries are singing and the rats are jumping off the sinking ship 'o state. America may be saved just in the nick of time! So, guess we can rest up for 2 days and get ready for next week to start.

Take your vitamins and buy lots of popcorn to munch while you watch C-span. The swallows are coming back to Capistrano!......don't know what that means but it was sure fun typing it!

a blogger on TPM asserts...

"we learned today in the Washington Post that Monica Goodling worked for Tim Griffin between her graduation from Regent and her takin a position at DOJ."

... i've not bee able to confirm this yet.

I think Tim was overheard saying he and Monica Goodling dated in college.....I'm looking at facebook.com to confirm that now.

Extremism in support of private insurers is no virtue, and President Bush was defiantly unvirtuous in resisting a Medicare bill that preserves and strengthens government-funded health care for elderly Americans. /more/
