Presidential recruitment -- UPDATE
Mike Huckabee today announced that South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds had joined the steering commitee of his presidential campaign.
Also, campaigning in Iowa, he predicts a breakout.
UPDATE: Here, the Boston Globe writes about efforts by Huckabee and other GOP candidates to win the secret endorsement of the Arlington Group, a group of preachers and Religious Right nonprofits.

I would like to announce that a guy named Kevin who lives 4 houses down from me and sound like he's from Wisconsin is going to walk up the street and give me some tips on how to get rid of trumpet vines in my wisteria arbor and on the side of my house.
Kevin, a former clean-up man for the Fort Baptist Yard Nazis joins me in my yard with some pretty fancy equipment I can't run and a big Dodge flatbed truck. Because he is some kind of weird religious wacko, he won't accept money for his helping hand because he says God wants him to help his neighbors.
I don't have a bloated PAC, but I do have some yard tools that belonged to my late father that I will give Kevin when all the trumpet vine is gone. I'm sure Kevin and his big Dodge truck will be a major asset in my campaign to rid my yard of trumpet vine.
Thanks for coming out today and God bless America!

Huckabuck is fast running out of stuff to announce...minutia to pin a media appearance on. I wonder if anyone will ever tell him that it's not the campaign that's the problem; it's the candidate and his empty/sermonizing one-liners.

Hey DBI, your post was short about eleven paragraphs. You're slacking off!
