LR movie news

Movie fans will want to motor over to our Little Rocking blog, where Lindsey Millar reports on the warm New York welcome for Little Rock independent filmmaker Jeff Nichols' "Shotgun Stories," which made its North American debut at the Tribeca Film Festival. A star may be born.

Comments

This is not quite show-biz, but Inside Edition that I HAD to watch with Ma tonight had a piece on Miss Arkansas 1977 who is currently living and cleaning toilets and floors in a LR homeless shelter.

Poor Bunny....hopefully she's getting help to get back on her feet. Good luck.

Other Miss Arkansases (is that correct?) have had varying careers. The Miss Fill-in-the-Blank phenomenon has distracted us long enough. Faux royalty is so redneck.

But back to the topic. A lowly employee of a local restaurant has a part in "Shotgun Stories", and word is that there have been phonecalls from the coasts about him. May he not fall prey to the curse.
