School buzz

I'd appreciate hearing from anyone about a letter that supposedly went out this week to some select LR school district administrators. I'm not prepared to say more at this moment, but if you have direct knowledge, you already know it's a potential bombshell. I have multiple calls and e-mails out.

Anyone with some insight is welcome to call me at 663-6758 or write me at max@arktimes.com Thanks.

I've not heard anything about a letter to select principals; however, I know many in the profession and will investigate the situation later on today. Brooks' behavior is erratic, so nothing really surprises me about him or certain members of the board.

ARK. BLOG: Make no assumptions about which side of the divide these letters arise from, or what administrators might have received the communications.

The only thing I have seen is what was in the paper this morning. I know some folks at the LRSD adminstration office and will see what I can find out.

Yes, I guess my assessment was premature; the correspondence, according to tonight's news, was drafted by Dr. MItchell. I surmised the letter had been sent to building principals, not top level administrators. As I mentioned in an earlier post, no tears will flow for anyone on the list. As a matter of fact, a few more should be added.
