Pigs in pokes

NLR isn't the only place that a baseball stadium cost far more than advertised by city officials. Now it's Springdale where bids were $5 million to $13 million over estimates. And that's before the little oversights and add-ons, which, if NLR is again a guide, are sure to arise once construction begins.

Comments

This should come as a surprise to no one. The reigning Springdale crew of financiers knew this would be the case
before the vote was ever cast ti approve the stadium.
What would be fun is IF they had to go back to citizens and vote again on an additional amount.
