NO billboard is a good idea. My travel experiences are so very much more enjoyable when driving in those states that realize what an abomination these things are. And, on a related topic, who is the rocket scientist who decided the way to help keep Arkansas clean is to put garish "don't litter" signs basically on top of roadways? The signs are worse than the litter!
NO, horrible idea. I already feel I have to constantly be a defensive driver far too much of the time as it is now. Changing electronic billboards would only add one more distraction for the masses.
It's only a matterof time before someone causes an accident because of one of these billboards, and the ensuing lawsuits are going to bankrupt some of these billboard companies. So, yeah, bring 'em on.
No...we need less public advertisement, not more. It's sad to see such a naturally beautiful state continually made ugly by bought/sold legislators and greedy/self-serving business interests.
I think it's pretty cool. There is one at the corner of Kanis and S Bowman. It's been there for a while. Sort like blade runner. Now if I could just get a flying car!
I noticed that the article says that other states have not seen an increase in accidents. I wonder whether other states have had problems with billboard hacking?

Students who were present during what Jonesboro police have called a riot at that city's The Grove apartment complex on election night Nov. 4 say the event was a peaceful celebration until cops arrived, and insist that accounts of rock and bottle throwing and an assault on an officer are false or overblown.

Was the rape of a Marianna schoolteacher less important to the state than an assault on a Little Rock TV personality? "Couldn't be farther from the truth," state Crime Laboratory Director Kermit Brooks Channell II said Tuesday.

A decade or so ago, ambitious and well-connected chiselers sold gullible and/or greedy legislators on the idea that deregulation of electricity would be good for people.

I prefer "changing billboards" to more billboards.

Drivers already have too many distractions: changing stations/CDs, makeup, hair, cell phones, navigators, car wrecks on the side...etc.
A changing billboard runs the risk of diverting the eyes attention to the movement...and I already perceive that people are too comfortable driving.
great idea for the advertising companies - bad idea for drivers. However, it is inevitable

Ho-hum, NWA has had Ebillboards for a few years. There won't be any in Fayetteville due to a strict sign ordinance which sets maximum size.
Think I will wait for talking cereal boxes and mannequins who recognize me.
