Divorce suit filed

It was a fairy tale marriage attended by 600, officiated by Gov. Mike Huckabee, with former President Jimmy Carter, Frank Broyles, Houston Nutt, Sen. Blanche Lincoln and Mickey Mouse among those in attendance. But the union of Paul Young and Breezy Osborne, celebrated Aug. 2, 2003,  is apparently coming to an end. He filed for divorce June 11.

The Osborne Family website, in addition to features about the Little Rock drug testing magnate Jennings Osborne's many barbecues and Christmas light extravaganzas, still includes links to videos of the rehearsal, wedding and reception, plus photo albums and reprints of extensive society magazine coverage.

If it had been a covenant marriage --- then it would have worked right? Because who would dare break a promise with God?

On the upside, this means Breezy is available....

Breezy is available and she's not the awkward girl of her youth anymore! I'm impressed with the recent photos! Are you sure about this, Paul?!

Actually, I haven't had much interaction with her, but she really seems to be a quite fine young woman. Best of luck to them both.

Breezy come, breezy go. Now that she's a woman.....and single again, Huck can drop this silly charade of running for Prez, divorce Janet, marry Breezy and attain all his dreams of the good life.

I hope Paul Young will write a book and explain how one can divorce a beautiful, young, heiress such as Breezy. Reminds me of something I heard in a bar one night after a drop dead gorgeous woman walked by and tongues could be heard hitting tables everywhere.

My friend leaned over and said, no matter how beautiful she is, no matter how fabulously she's built...someone....somewhere....is sick of her shit.

And before Vegan attacks, no doubt this can be said doubly about good looking men.

Let us hope Breezy keeps it all together and doesn't follow the path of Britney Spears after the breakup.

Wow! What a find.

Wedding reception video is gold.

Bazzel emceeing, a fat Huckabee with Jethrine wearing a hat the size of an umbrella, Frank, Houston, Jimmy Carter, yukking it up, the 12 ft. tall wedding cake, some kind of international bazaar buffet with humming bird tongues and rare Peuvian condor eggs.

(and that's just the first 8 minutes)

All the while a 60 ft tall
"God Bless George W. Bush" sign flashes outside.

Man this is like a Fellini or Bergman flick.

Osbourne's wealth is from our broken health care system.

I wish a Michael Moore film crew had crashed the party for the film "Sicko".

I thought the marriage was on the rocks - they have a vicious dog. A vicious dog is the product of a bad household. Stay off the mean streets around thier house!

So does this mean that my "Osborne Family Fireworks" picture autographed by all members of the Osborne family, INCLUDING PAUL(!!!), is now a collector's item? I can only imagine how much that bad boy will sell for on the open market between a willing buyer and seller! (Or is its value diminished by the 10,326 other similarly signed photographs out there? hmmm)

Nothing to do with the subject at hand...but I drove by the Osborne estate the other day (for the first time in awhile) and boy was it looking shabby (monkeyboy's sign, too).

This explains the multiple Paul Young sightings at Ciao Baci....

Wow, that website is as cheesy as I would expect from the Osbornes. Their walled trailer park of a home is the trashiest eyesore in town, especially with the tattered American flag Christmas lights.

For a real laugh, check out this page entitled "Osborne Family Story". They describe themselves as "one of the most celebrated families in Arkansas". Wow.

The likelihood of poor old Paul being in charge of Ditz.. er Breezy with Jennings hovering over them is about the same as Houston being in charge of his own piglets with Frank holding the purse strings.

How appropriate that they were all in the same tent together at the wedding . . .

I am a pretty cynical person, but you shouldn't make fun of a newlywed couple, and any divorce is a horrible thing.

Amen, Crazy Horse.

Well of course divorce is regrettable, but the over the top opulence of the reception is truly snarkworthy.

If we can't poke fun at Arkansaw's answer to Paris Trump, the terrorists have indeed won.

Agreed Rev. Mojo,

As unfortunate as divorce is for anyone (and it is indeed, including for Breezy and Paul), a publicly visible - not to mention "celebrated - family, whether they be the Osbornes or the Hiltons must take the good with the bad. You can't just put yourself out there for the public to see in all of your incandescent glory but expect them to shy away if the news is less than favorable...even if that news is divorce.
So a few jabs here and there are to be expected. They have put their lives on display (have you SEEN the website?)...you can't expect people not to look.
