Crime watch

Lots of houses in the upper Heights lack garages. Thus, cars are often parked on the street overnight. Sometimes with unhappy results.

Don't you need a special tool to remove wheels from a new car?

The cheap thieving bastards could have at least used 4 blocks.

"Upper Heights?" Don't you mean Upper Hillcrest?

Yeah Rick...just no decent thieves out there today.

I know the poor fella this happened to...

It also happened to someone else with the same make and model just a few blocks away...

The cops were apparently pretty surprised that the thieves didn't steal the entire car...supposedly it takes only a few seconds to take the car while it probably took 20 minutes to steal the wheels...

Strange...

Talk about sleeping soundly....did not the thieves make some kind of noise? I may need to contract them to do my oil change---it would be much quicker than Firestone. Just a shame....

Plug in a baby monitor outside and place the receiver by your bedside. You should be able to hear the thieves that way. I am now monitoring my scooter that way (along with an alarm on it) since it was stolen several weeks ago from my carport. I did recover it the same day by driving to the Central High area shortly after school let out.

Awwww....looks like a beautiful legless Japanese woman. You can still love her, you just can't take her dancing. Get well soon little Nissan!

What was the street address? Got friends in the area, so I'd like to give them a heads-up.

I guess we can attribute the escalation in crime to 'global warming', huh?
