Red meat

Want some? Republican candidates serve up slabs of exactly the stuff a conservative group in Iowa wants to hear.  Mike Huckabee didn't demonstrate the slightest bit of moderation. He vowed he'd absolutely veto any tax increase or any increase in spending. (Romney thoughtfully gave himself a little wiggle room on account of the possibility of a war or some minor concern like that.) No mention is made of how Huckabee's vow for the future squares with his past record as a tax-raising, increased spending governor in Arkansas. Nor how his 30 percent sales tax, the Fair Tax, will work if it doesn't raise taxes on a lot of people to make up for the enormous tax cuts it will give to the wealthy. No matter. The point was pushing hot buttons. And there were plenty -- on gay marriage, stem cell research, immigration.

Why do they hate American values?

huckabee doesn't have the courage to go off the reservation and look for something other than the fundies. i guess he hasn't understood that they only represent a little over 20% of the votes these days and the percentage keeps shrinking. maybe he can get on the ticket with romney and counsel him on what jesus really means and write the jokes. with his son torturing animals and romney's losing the peta vote they will be a great pair.

For Huckabee to get any attention he better start handing out handjobs and Arby's coupons or never be heard from again. He is a Checker cab at the NY Auto Show.....zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yea DBI, you're old mantra that he is living the life of a Rock Star has ended, with a thud, because it's true. Stardom can come and go and his was lukewarm all along which is the way Arkies like it. Rommel has the obvious star power and that's what Rs like cause their ideas are bankrupt. That "goddamn piece of paper" , the Constitution, gets in the way of Arnold ascendening to the leading role. They tried to amend it but it would take too long for Arnold to reach stardom. Go back to Terminator Arnold cause that's what is going on in Calif, your termination.
