Clinton for vice president

Bill, that is. A California law prof explains.

Hmm, ve-erry interesting.

Interesting indeed. But let's consider a Clinton/Clinton ticket.
Around here, hubby is retired -- and not happily, I might add. He wants to wash each dish, glass and spoon as soon as we get through using it, and with the water running during the entire operation.
Now to understand why this drives me nuts: we have a perfectly good dishwasher; and I grew up in a household where water had to be used very sparingly at some times of the year. From late summer on, we'd pull up sand from the well if we weren't careful. That meant we had to pull the piping and clean the filter. Believe me, this was neither a fun nor an easy job.
So when hubby starts with the dishwashing, I go nuts. And we go to town, so to speak.
I daresay the same thing would happen -- in spades! -- if I took over his former job and he were my second in command.
The Clintons' marriage has made it through a lot. I'm not sure it would survive a Clinton/Clinton ticket and presidency.
Now from a technical standpoint, if not a political one, the article seems to clear the way for such a ticket. However, it's not an option I would happily embrace. I do like the Hillary option now (and don't like Obama at the moment, although maybe in a few years . . .) and will vote for her if given a chance, no matter who her running mate is. But I'd rather not see WWIII start in the family quarters of the White House.

Huh...interesting, indeed...

I am still on board with Bill Richardson as long as it lasts...

But interesting...

Speaking of Vice Presidents (excuse the abort-it's worth it) TPMtv has a hilariously true spot on Cheney's lying to Larry King last nite. Too good to miss. click on Lwood.

If Bill were Vice-president would he fill the same role as Cheney, Commander and Chief?
.

Tsk. Making it up as he goes along.
