Fixated on Huckabee

The Fix, or Washington Post blogger Chris Cillizza, continues his devotion to Mike Huckabee. Says it's time to take some risks. Whatever that means, besides going on the Colbert Report.

The LA Times takes a similar tack.

"...Neil Newhouse, one of the most respected Republican pollsters in the business, suggested that Huckabee really think outside the box by appearing on "The Colbert Report" --.."

Oh lord...the Republicans don't seem to do wild/crazy too well.

Reading that Cillizza piece reminded me of the Neil Cavuto interview with monkeyboy that Jon Stewart ran the other day.

You sound a little out of sorts with Cillizza, Max. I guess he's not quite as pliable as Brummett?

I don't see any reason why the national media shouldn't take note of Huckabee. He's had a remarkably strong presence in this campaign. My dream ticket is still Giuliani/Huckabee; my number two is Obama and anyone else. Except Clinton, not that she'd take a number two slot.
