Fun and games

A couple of unrelated e-mails in the box this morning struck me slightly funny:

WHAT IT IS IS FUTBOL

The University of Arkansas, in association with the Arkansas Razorback Sports Network (ARSN), has announced the formation of a Hispanic radio network for the 2007 football season.  The network will carry the six Fayetteville home games this season, beginning with the season opener Saturday against Troy. ESPN Deportes 1580 AM in Fort Smith and La Maquina KYNG 1590 AM in Springdale will air the Razorback Football broadcasts.  Carlos Chicas and Jose Lopez will provide the play-by-play coverage.

GAMBLING FOR COLLEGE DOLLARS

The Pulaski Technical College Foundation will host a Bingo Night fundraiser on Friday, Sept. 7. The event will be 7-9 p.m. in the Campus Center Grand Hall, located on the college’s main campus in North Little Rock at 3000 West Scenic Drive. Tickets to the event are $25 and include one bingo card for the first five games; additional cards will be available for $2 a card.

Comments

Could you tell me the call letters of the radio station that will be carrying the football game in Spanish in Rogers?

DBI, I believe that station goes by the call letters WASP.
