Gadwall's burns

The original Gadwall's, a popular burger restaurant in Sherwood, was heavily damaged by fire early this morning.  Bart Bryant, one of the family members who own the restaurant and a a new branch on Cantrell Road, said they hope to install a grill in their pizza restaurant next door to continue to sell burgers. The family hopes to rebuild or build new nearby, he said.

Man I hate to hear that! Their White Chicken Chili is the best and I love their sweet potato fries.

Sherwood has lost a legendary restaurant! As a friend of the Bryant family, I know that they are devestated not only by the loss of the business, but also for their employees and their employees families. Let's continue to support them by frequenting their other businesses, Gadwalls Pizza and Gadwalls in West Little Rock, while they rebuild during this difficult time!

Wife says she heard vending machines were broken into and think the fire was part of a break-in robbery.

I hope they saved the grills. I swear the reason the food tastes so good is from years of grease on those grills! And, they'd just added a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich that brought back memories of growing up in the north. Plain mustard and pickles on it - can't be beat!
