Huck on Fox

Transcript of the candidate on the Republican News Channel.

That 3 percent showing in the latest Fox poll? Doesn't reflect "core voters," just name recognition, says The Huckster.

"Nice guy" Huck also slams Romney and the "Club for Greed." Please understand, when The Huckster is pitching the mud it's just comparative politics, not slimey goo.

He also chose an unfortunate analogy for whether he was talking about Romney when he talked about candidates with shifting positions over time. "If you throw a rock across the fence, it's the hit dog who hollers."

Huck again more or less lied by saying the Club for Growth has distorted his record. But Chris Wallace's producers had done their homework. He noted that the Cato Institute and another anti-tax think tank had criticized the governor's record on taxes and spending in Arkansas. (We repeat: This is an area where we applaud the record from which the former governor is trying to run.)

He also mentioned that late-arriving candidate Fred Thompson might suffer from overblown expectations.

Comments

Huckabee continues to be a joke. In the meantime, I don't think Thompson will muster enough gumption to even toss his hat in the ring.

Oh, did Fred actually announce he's running? Hush my mouth.

It's a simple case of a 20 dollar whore turning their nose up at a $1500 a night call girl. That's pretty much the difference between Huck and Mormon Mitt. Another difference is Huckabee got rich off government service and Mormon Mitt got rich doing smarty business deals. Hope Mitt doesn't turn the table on that nice ole Huckabee feller.....I can think of a couple of attacks that would be deadly.

Fred Thompson is masturbating, nothing more. He was too damn lazy to be a Senator, why would he jump into the open machinery of the Oval Office? He's got a wife with big boobs half his age...uh I mean all of her is half his age...well...I'm thinking maybe her boobs are half her age.......oh well....he's got him a TV show, a ton of Cuban cigars and scads of money in the bank. Plus he's a senior citizen and has incurable cancer. He's not serious about running....he's just wagging it at us.

The rest of this year is going to be murder, so enjoy this lull while it lasts. Thinking ahead makes me tired. But at some point we're going to have to decide to get off our butts and save our country or just continue to watch it slip under the waves.

Huck was really short on the numbers in this show. He usually has the numbers right on the tip of his tongue.
Anyone check out his assertion that his budget grew at .5 per year?
