Huckabee endorsements

Boston Globe reports that Mike Huckabee will pick up some endorsements today from important New Hampshire conservatives.

Former state Senator Russell Prescott and former Executive Councilor David Wheeler will formally endorse Huckabee later today, the Globe has learned.

Both lost re-election races in 2004, but Prescott remains a hero to many social conservatives and Wheeler is still a leader among advocates for the Second Amendment.

In addition to Prescott and Wheeler, former Transportation Commissioner Carol Murray and five additional state representatives are expected to also endorse Huckabee

They also ride horses to work, dress all in black and have long whiskers like Gabby Hayes. When asked how he thought Huckabee was viewed around the world, Former state Senator Russell Prescott spit and said, "Git outta my face ya commie liberal, everyone knows the earth is flat!"

Former Executive Councilor* David Wheeler couldn't be reached, sources say he is attending an all day foot washing in Stow.

*WTF?

Barack Obama was a guest on the Daily Show tonight. At one point Jon asked the Senator what he thought of the other candidates ... if he liked any of them, if any were decent people ... something to that effect. Obama started to say, "Mike Huckab-- ... " then Jon interrupted with a joke or line. Obama never came back to finish saying what I assume was that Huckabee is a decent guy, but ....

Don't anyone tell the Huckster, though. Wouldn't want him to pee those Jennings britches.

A bigoted formerly fat Southern Baptist minister with stomach-stapling surgery on Arkansas' dime who squeaked into second place in Iowa, of all places, has a chance of being the next President of the United States?

Pick me up off the floor when I stop laughing.
