Meet the candidate

Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, who chairs Hillary Clinton's campaign in Arkansas, has set up a meeting for legislators to meet the candidate at 4 p.m. Monday at the Association of Arkansas Counties building during a campaign finance swing that will take her to multiple appearances in Fayetteville and Little Rock. Writes Rep. Steve Harrelson in a letter to lawmakers:

It doesn't matter if you haven't decided to support yet in 2008. This is one of these rare opportunities to get more information on where a presidential candidate stands firsthand so you can relay back to your constituents exactly where she is on guns, immigration or whatever the big issues in your district may be.

The $100-a-head meet and greet for young professionals is at 5 p.m. Monday at Cafe Africa, LR Zoo.

Shame on Dustin. Hillary has gone all over the country and dogged Wal-Mart. She has even denounced her time on its board. Wal-Mart means a lot to Arkansas. Lots of jobs and value shopping. What was it that Hillary said about small businessmen during her health care debacle? I think it was something to the tone of "I don't care about people with underfunded businesses." Her health care plan she put for during Slick Willie's reign would have put small business out of business. But of course we all need to remember that Dustin and his lawfirm sued Remington arms over the shootings in Jonesboro. They could not find anyone else to sue so they went after Remignton. Remington is another company with operations in Arkansas. Shame on you Dustin.

Clinton's first lady records locked up
Archivists say the former first lady's documents at her husband's presidential library won't be released until after the '08 vote.

LITTLE ROCK, ARK --

. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton cites her experience as a compelling reason voters should make her president, but nearly 2 million pages of documents covering her White House years are locked up in a building here, obscuring a large swath of her record as first lady.

Clinton's calendars, appointment logs and memos are stored at her husband's presidential library, in the custody of federal archivists who do not expect them to be released until after the 2008 presidential election.

Wonder why she locked them up (her records)till after the electionsin 2008 ? maybe some of us poor folks can't afford or pay for her talks and dinner ? i wonder why she is blocking any release these records ? Max ?
you can read the whole post at my name the blue link .

Sounds pretty smart to me. Why would she open herself to misrepresentation of facts and inuendo, especially during a presidential campaign. Some of you folks need to take a step back and look at this from a different perspective.

I'm sure Sen Clinton will have plenty of open events in Arkansas before it's all said and done. How's she supposed to fund her campaign if she doesn't raise money?

Just taking a note from the Bush Playbook RLR, there could be NATIONAL SECURITY matters discussed those papers.

MSNBC Picked up the "closed Hillary notes' story today. But only tiny NPR covered the preacher and church in Calif who publicly endorsed Mike Huckabee for president.
