The Arkansas ticket
Now, more than before, John Brummett likes the idea of a Hillary Clinton-Wesley Clark presidential ticket.

Me too!
Maybe that's why Clark didn't run for President this time and won't run against Mark Pryor. Maybe he has assurances of a place on her team.
I'm getting excited about taking the White House back, though the place will need a major fumigation.

While I could support a Clinton/Clark ticket -- easily and happily -- I'm inclined to think it ain't gonna happen. Too many ties to Arkansas from the national point of view.
Still, there is the obvious upside to this possible ticket. A bright, well-spoken military man to counter to the yip, yip: she's just a woe-man; she doesn't know anything about waging war . . . Yip, yip, yip. (Ain't no big dogs who would bark this aloud. Leave it to the lap dogs, the right -- a word I'm beginning to hate as much as "evil".)
The prospect of Huckabee a heartbeat away from the presidency? Oh, please . . .
Now the burning question from one (me!) who has been known to examine actions and reactions for undercurrents: is there bad blood between Hillary and Blanche? Sure, Arkansas voters are well able to make up their own minds without Blanche's help, or the help of the rest of the pack. But it seems that every pol around thinks otherwise, or at least sees the need to get on the bandwagon. Anyone have an insight into Blanche's reasoning?

A Clinton/Clark ticket sounds great with Obama as Secretary of State! Sounds like a winner to me. I am too excited about the upcoming election.
Guilanni and Huckabee has been linked. The thought of Huckabee and or Guilanni anywhere near the White House gives me an itch.

Clinton thinks its okay to stay in Irak and intends to keep us there with just a few less troops.. She, like her husband will tell Democrats what they want to hear and use the time tested failure of the DLC triangle to keep us as far right as the Joe Liebermans and Mark Pryors want us to be... We might as well just call her Clinton Incorporated because that is who she wants to be president for.. not the people.
The only american military expertise we need right now is someone who knows how not to rely on or use the military.. and frankly I want a president who is not willing to spend 600 billion plus on the defense department... that's 600 plus billion whether we are at war or occupation or not, roughly 8,000 per year for every man woman and child in our country before we actually use our forces in action (there my friends is our heath care, education, and debt payments which also means our social security)... It's time to kill the defense industry before it kills us! Wes says quite a number of good things... like don't bomb Iran, meanwhile Wes raises money for constitutional haters like Mark Pryor who sure prefers endless occupation of Irak and every indicator suggests he would support an attack on Iran in a heartbeat (doesn't seem to matter that neither country ever threatened us at all, not now, not ever)... and when someone sends Wes a letter asking him to explain the obvious contradictions... he doesn't reply.
We need the Edwards, Kucinich, Feingolds, Leahy,Gore, Waters and Joycelynn Elders types running our government... Not President Incorporated..bombs away.

ummmmmm.......no. and i'm a democrat. he is always touting his leadership. either run for public office again or do your 'consulting.' i'm tired of this half in half out committment.
i don't like it in others either. not only that but clark courted both parties when he finally "became" a Democrat just a few years ago. Karl Rove wouldn't return his calls and the Repubs were indifferent. so, guess where he ran.

I'm not surprised about Blanche, she seems to think Arkansas and the Nation can do without her help too. She reminds me of my wife's crazy Uncle who wouldn't come out of his room for years. When will the people of Arkansas get tired of paying for nothing?
Boy, it's fun to make everything be about us. If only every candidate running for Prez was from Arkansas. Just wait till all those Duggar's get over 35, one J can be Prez, another J can be VP, then fill up the entire cabinet with J. Duggars and the Supreme Court. Surely that leaves at least one to drink too much and come out with his own brand of beer.
Wes Clark looks like a talker to me. Since he retired from the military, all he does is talk. Maybe he's on 2011 corporate boards or something, but as far as doing us any good, he's been stuck in the gate for years. The Christ-Huckabee ticket would be a loser next year if'n we get anything like a fair election. Today, Republicans are foul turds floating in rest stop toilets, as well they should be after the carnage of Cheney-Bush.
I can see right now that Huck will be the next Harold Stassen, running for office for the rest of his life without ever being in danger of winning. It will keep him in limos and lots of food on Janet's table. So might as well start printing up Huckabee '12, '16, '20, '24, '28, '32 signs, you're gonna need em.
Hillary needs to shut up about lobby money and move to the left a little or I might just be spiking Obama signs in my yard. I need more pleasing out of her and less teasing. She of all people needs to listen less to what her advisers tell her and go ahead and be herself and get that Hunka Hunka Bill Clinton out in public more often. The truth is, America wants Bill Clinton back, but will settle for the next best thing, Hillary. Hillary-Obama with Bill as 1st Lady is my pick of the moment. Never before has America needed a giant change and now is the time to do it.
But lets not forget IMPEACHMENT in the fall. 500 more days of the criminal neo-cons won't do anyone any good. We need to pull the ax out of our forehead and start trying to stuff our brains back in. Come on....do it today....do it for Elvis!

How fast would the RNC dig up pictures of Clark and Michael Moore together if this happens? This fast:

And what would be wrong with that?
Except I don't know why RNC would want to make the Democratic VP nominee look so good.

Like it or not being aligned with Michael Moore is still a liability rather than plus for a big chunk of potential voters. If this does happen you can bet Hill and Clark will always make sure MM is at least two states away from them.

i kind of like the idea of wes clark on the ticket with hillary. i think that nobody whose name we have heard lately will be on it right now so he would be great. it would help with the right. it would allow hillary go left which i think she secretly wants to do. i think president hillary would be a lot more liberal than senator hillary.

Just think. Wes Clark has more combat experience (Viet Nam) than ALL the Repub nominees combined.

Miss Blanche is cocked and ready to support any candidate who promises to end the billionaire's tax. That's all. She will cut any deal anywhere to get that puppy axed. So sorry Miss Blance, Demos won the '06 election and you will not get the billionaire's tax repealed so long as Demos control the House. Charlie Rangel is tough old codger. He realizes that only one tenth of one per cent of the population have to contribute via the billionaire's tax so protecting yo diddy's estate is gonna take some planning.
