The mayor just got stronger

Federal Judge Bill Wilson today dismissed the lawsuit challenging the mayoral power change approved by Little Rock voters. He dismissed it without prejudice, meaning it may be refiled. The plaintiffs in the suit had not responded to the city's motion to dismiss. If they refile the suit, Wilson said, they will have to include an answer to that motion. Sounds like it's just about all over except for the pay raise.

Good call Judge Wilson. Time for Mayor Stodola to lead. Plenty of issues to tackle.
