What did she say?
Brummett concludes that the press read too much into a remark by Barack Obama's wife that caused a bit of controversy lately.
(You'll find the complete quote in this article, a context that makes it pretty clear to me that she wasn't talking about the Clintons, as some thought, but herself.)

Comments
to paraquote FDR, "There are NO accidents in Politics. If something happened, you can be sure that it was planned that way".
MO's comments (and their connotations) were said knowingly.
HRC's forces will orchestrate a reaction for "innoculation" purposes.
by January 2008, such "talk" will be new "old news" as well as old "old news". (especially if the GOP nominee has ever been divorced)

No way I am about to read more on this story. However if Brummett wants to do so so long after the story has been worn out in the rest of the MSM.. It is very telling that Mr Brummett did not include the full quote..
Kudos to Max for doing so.
Mr Brummett, It's called google.
