Huckabee lies
Re: Wayne Dumond. And a gullible press stenography pool types it up. Some bloggers can read, if the AP cannot.

For biting commentary on the state of America's press corps, see today's Dilbert. Says it all.
But of course the gullible public remains susceptible to not only bad reporting, but intentionally slanted reporting AND cynically distorted coommentary. On the heels of Greenberg's fawning (as only Paul can fawn) tribute today to the University of Alabama-Huntsville scientist whose mission in life is to discredit those who warn of climate change is a complaint by the guy's own students and others that they were misrepresented in a Hannity and Colmes segment on Fox Spews. Link hopefully on my name, or it can be found at rawstory.com.

Since Max doesn't seem to shine the light of negative press on certain people, I guess I will have to do it for him.

Since Red can't think of anything relevant to the topic, he once again takes the opportunity to swipe at his own favorite target--entirely off-subject. I think it's an attention span problem.

I'm just trying to point out the editorial oversights of the host blogger.

Since Red can't think of anything relevant to the topic,.." widj
Too many words there widj. Let me help: "Since Red can't think."
>>As of Sept. 30, Huckabee had raised $2.3 million and had $650,000 cash on hand. By comparison, Rudy Giuliani had $16.6 million cash on hand, Mitt Romney $9.2 million and Fred Thompson $7.1 million.<<

"Front-runner Clinton said she raised 27 million dollars and gained more than 100,000 new donors in the third quarter, bolstering her bid to win back the White House for Democrats and replace Republican George W Bush as president."

Well, Red, you are off subject BUT you did dig up some dirt that Ms Hillary may have trouble with. Since I wasn't privy to the entire debate, I am curious how the MSM is viewing this matter. Politico has its own biases as one notes in reading the whole tone of the article. Do you have other sources on this situation (both sides, please) so we can weigh the matter?
Also, Politico ought to be able to take Master Huck to task for his crisscross comments in the same manner he has dealt with Clinton. I can't wait for a future moderator to ask the panel of candidates if any of them have freed a convicted rapist/murderer who killed again. Let's see how fast he raises his hand on that question.

Yikes! I just had the TV on in the background while online, and I heard Chris Matthews say something like "Will Hillary's push for drivers licenses for illegals hurt her chances to get the nomination?" So now we've gone from her being accused of being flip-floppy on the issue to her being portrayed as wholeheartedly and unequivocally pushing for such licenses. I'd say we've entered the phase of the campaign where the media will attempt to "Howard Dean" her. I hope at the next debate she leans in real close to the microphone and yells "YEEHAW." I still wish Dean had stayed in the race back then.

This whole episode of Hardball has been about Mrs. Rodham Clinton's difficulties.

Wow! That's really shocking, A-Red. Usually Chris Matthews is so pro-Clinton.

How can she lose? Everywhere you go it's Hillary talk, good, bad, indifferent. I hear no one mentioning the other 16. No such thing as bad publicity....

Ooops. I just learned from the other thread that she has endorsed the drivers license idea, so I must humbly apologize for my remark about Chris Matthews.
I do think she can look forward to a lot of attacks from the press, however. They have spent a lot of time presenting her as an almost unbeatable frontrunner. Usually the next step for them is to pounce on some rather insignificant statement or action by the person they have built up and use it to try to destroy him or her -- Howard Dean's yeehaw and John Kerry's windsurfing, for two examples.
