Mike Huckabee's money UPDATE

Stephens Media's David Sanders says Mike Huckabee will report raising only $1 million for his campaign this quarter, more than earlier quarters but still puny against leading candidates. His burgeoning media minutes haven't hurt him, certainly, but they also haven't opened the money spigot.

UPDATE: An Arkansas Republican, one of many who don't admire our former governor, notes that Ron Paul outraised the Huckster by $4 million this quarter.

And bloggers are already suggesting the poor Huckabee showing could cause him to drop out. His camp scoffs at this, naturally.

Comments

ahem... that's "former" Arkansan and "former" Republican (unless by some miracle Ron Paul wins the GOP nomination)

many thanks for the hat tip though.

ARK. BLOG: Actually, that was a reference to another Republican who also sent the link on the Paul fund-raising.

ya mean i'm not the only one? : )

please, pardon my vanity.

ARK. BLOG: I did get the Huffington Post link from you, however. And thanks. But the number of disaffected Repubs re Huckabee is large. How else do you think we get so many good tips about him?
