'Pink panic'

A Washington Post editorial page staffer says the tall-talking Republican candidates, including Mike Huckabee, are unwilling to take questions of interest to gay voters. Surprise.

But elsewhere in the morning Google roundup are nice words spoken on ABC Sunday by both Newt Gingrich and Bill Clinton about Huckabee's dark horse candidacy.

"Gingrich, who said that there is an 80 percent chance that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) would be the next president, said that her Republican opponent would only be able to beat her on the issues and not by attacking her."

Bruised and battered
