Trouble in Rogers

The big news in NW Ark. this morning appears to be a teen beer bust yesterday near Rogers. The cops were all over it. Some speedy youngsters managed to evade the huffing hordes of officers. I presume immigration papers were checked on all those collared.

Surely not in Rogers...isn't that town in a "DRY" county?

"The students could get warnings, in-school suspension...."

Wow.

Keep in mind that if they were arrested in Springdale, then immigration status may have been checked as well.

That is the point of 287(g), to check status AFTER they are in custody.

El pinche chingado Clinton fue responsable de firmar esa ley.

Entiendamos?

Interesting how rednecks automatically assume ALL of the kids were Latino, such as Red above, or the poster on the story site ("If that had been anything but Mexicans, the wrath of God would have been down on them. Another restaurant I will NOT bother eating at... "), who makes a typically rash decision to boycott the place.

Apparently there were MANY kids involved whose names are not given. I'd be willing to surmise that the sons of the Latino owners of the restaurant have plenty of non-Latino friends at school.

Oh, and Red? I don't know where you get your Spanish, but neither I nor AltaVista nor Google recognize "entiendamos", and both engines refused to translate "chingado", but they differed on "pinche"--one of them offering "little" and the other "damned". I hope you don't try to pick up girls using your Spanish.

Prairie Creek Steak and Seafood restaurant....damn those sneaky Mexicans! Using the Google to find such an American sounding name for their taco shack. No telling how many Roger's blue-hairs have been scared to death after pushing their walkers thru the front door. MEXICANS! YIKES!

I think it's time to start posting those American Owner signs in every place that serves the general public anything. There is a motel in Mena that still proudly displays its Christian Owned sign and if I ever get brave enough to stay overnight in Mena....I'm so there.

I'm also worried about 5 or 6 teenagers making their getaway in a black sports car. What size are we making sports cars these days? Were these midget teenagers? Does Rogers have an overabundance of midgets AND assholes? Does the Rogers water table run downhill into my water? Funny.....I'm suddenly feeling shorter and mean......ohmagod!

"Does Rogers have an overabundance of midgets AND assholes?"

Put ME on the floor, convulsing...GREAT!!!
