Find your candidate
Here's another one of those handy find-your-candidates tests. I'm still solidly in the Kucinich camp. The difference here is that it will explain how your feelings on a range of issues differ from those of the various candidates.

Dennis Kucinich shares a 91% similarity with your beliefs....followed by Gravel and Edwards. I would have scored more perfectly with Kucinich except I bombed on the global warming thing. If you score 100% with anyone you're either FKing them or you're a Republican. Those of us on the left don't cosy up as easily as those Pubbies.
But here we are.....fixing to vote for someone else other than Kucinich. I'm sorry....after 2000 I just can't risk voting for anyone other than the front running Democrat. My Nader vote makes me feel like it is 100% my fault we've had 7 miserable Cheney-Bush years. Sometimes when I'm alone and depressed....I cut....just a little as punishment for voting for Nader. Never ever ever again.
A President Hillary will not make me as happy as a President Dennis. It won't be as good for the world. But a President Anyone Other Than a Democrat will kill the world like putting diesel in your fish bowl. Assuming we have elections...and I think that's a pretty big assume....the Democrat has to win or we're dead.
No...we won't really die.....we'll just live in a new world where we wish we were dead. At the moment we're getting to experience the bad feelings the German people must have felt when their leaders took off on a crusade of murder across Europe in the 1930s. I don't like living in a country that's the bad guy of the world. I want the old America back! I want to be proud to be an American again. I never dreamed our country would fall so low, be so mean and kill so many people in the name of OIL.
I know I'm speaking to the choir here and you all know just what I mean. If my bestest friend in the world became President tomorrow, I'd want nothing from them personally. I don't need a Presidential favor. I don't want to get some slick insider deal that makes me rich. I'd just want my best friend to go to work reversing the direction of the country. Restoring the dignity, goodness and charity America used to stand for.
Complex economic problems might be hard......but knowing right from wrong, good from evil should come easy to all of us. These crazy Christians believe in heaven and hell, but they don't seem to know good from evil since they're willing to back the worst humans in history and reject all facts so they can continue to believe that war and thievery in God's name is a good thing.
A Democrat in the White House is the only step in the right direction we've got. It must be done....and any of them will do. We've just got to get to election day and hope the cheaters haven't taken the last 7 years to perfect their software in such a way that no Democrat can win. And don't think they haven't been working on such a thing. Vermin!

Kerry takes on the Swift Boat Veterans
We interrupt this presidential campaign to bring you a blast from the not-so-distant past.
At a recent gala dinner for the American Spectator, Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens, a major contributor to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, apparently offered $1 million to anyone who could disprove any of the Swifties' claims about John Kerry's service in Vietnam.
In a letter sent to Pickens today, Kerry has accepted the challenge himself. "I welcome the opportunity to prove that you are a man of your word and that the so-called 'Swift Boat Veterans for Truth' lied," Kerry says in his letter. "While I am prepared to show they lied on allegation after allegation, you have generously offered to pay one million dollars for just one thing that can be proven false. I am prepared to prove the lie beyond any reasonable doubt."

I hope Kerry does now what he didn't do in 04: Act like the person he was when he earned those medals and Kick swift boat ass! (Pickens, like a Bush Republican, will NEVER recognize any facts outside of his own creation.)
I'm a Kucinich fan through and through...but I'm supporting any Democrat who can take our country back from the Rabid Republicans. Go Hillary go!

DBI, you stated: "Sometimes when I'm alone and depressed....I cut....just a little as punishment for voting for Nader. " Obviously, you aren't cutting deep enough or in the right place. Please continue to whittle away and share your cutting tools with your fellow depressed 'our country is such a miserable nation' bloggers.

An interesting quirk to this tool. If you leave several issues with zeroes on the first screen because you don't have enough points to weight them, then you don't get the questions for those issues and they don't get ranked. I suggest taking twice, with your issues rated and with everything marked at least once. My results varied slightly.

Ables - You are a troll. And you have no ability to understand the difference between dark humor (see dbi) and no humor at all (see you). Unless you have been diagnosed with aspergers (sp?) a condition which leaves one unable to sense emotional nuance, you should seek medical help.

My bet is he can't afford it until we get universal health care.
I scored :
90% Kucinich
89% Chris Dodd (who will get my primary vote)
73% Gravel
