Include him out

No, of course Gov. Mike Beebe has no intention of associating himself with any formal review of the death penalty in Arkansas. See, that would be bold.

Comments

Last night on the radio he said "there is no need to act at the state level as there is currently a US Supreme Court moratorium." Say WHAT?!!

Wow, what a surprise. Shocking. My jaw hit the floor. I never, ever, ever would have expected Beebe to weasel out of stating a position on an issue given his usual assertive, principled stands that he takes at such great political risk to himself. Next thing we know, Mark Pryor will vote like a Republican. Mike Huckabee will be glib. A Clinton will try to have it both ways. Rivers will run backwards.
