Oh never mind

Tim Russert won't admit it -- nor will any other press pack players -- but they've been all wrong about a  Bill Clinton "ban" on release of papers from the Clinton Library. Digby has the analysis, which includes a link to the respected FactCheck.Org, which has corrected its previous misreporting on the issue. It's apermanent part of the lore regardless.

Good post and logic, Digby. Alas, you have a mighty tall hill to climb before it makes an impact.

Every time I see a negative about the Clintons, I know it is made-up bullshit from the Bush camp.
As I have said before, there can't be ANYTHING in the Clinton papers that woulf be harmful to Hillary. The Republican Attack Machine will go after her, but they won't have anything new to report.
She's got my vote.

Tall hill indeed. And it keeps getting taller, what with tip-gate, question-gate, and now today flag-gate. She used her witchy-powers to cause flags to fall clear across the room. It had nothing to do with that guy who came out from behind the curtain and ran into them -- it was her fault. I saw it on YouTube and Buzzflash.

An update to the story.

"You can't help but be suspicious about where Russert got that misleading question."

I've been wondering the same thing myself. However, I'm sure it comes directly from the National GOP library of sleaze. He seems to have become their media tear duct.

Tim's propensity towards Bill's private parts have surfaced many times over recent years. Was he jealous of Lewinsky or just the typical mean and sadistic republican?

Thank's to the great spiritual enmity for the Net for it's fast becoming a political equalizer. In that regard you got to feel sorry somewhat for all the private/corporate money expended to control the news media and then see the little old Net equalizer come along. NOT!

All the political testosterone endowed candidates seem to be thinking with their wrong un rational/unpatriotic head in the heat of battle. They seem to have lost focus that America is in dire need for a strong/fair rational leadership.
We've been B---S--- encough already!

We can't afford seconds no more and gender is not the issue strong leadership is and Hilary seems to be our country's best bet at the moment.

What is amazing is how many people, usually blue-hairs totally susceptible to Fox News fear mongering, still believe the Clinton's trashed the White House and stole things right and left like a Huckabee as they were leaving in January, 2001. Like the lie about Al Gore saying he invented the Internet...it's all just made up crap...but far too many people still believe it.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are the most investigated people on earth. Ken Starr spent 50 to 70 million trying dig up crap on them and failed. My god....if that much money was spent investigating me, I know they'd turn up pictures of me eating boogers behind the couch when I was 4. They'd also find pictures of me smoking one of Mom's Pall Malls behind the couch when I was 4. Four was a big year for me....same year my teddy and Lassie dolls took rubber bands and tied up my hands so Ma would have to free me...same year Hawaii and Alaska joined the Union.....yeah...big year!

I don't fear what is in the Clinton closet. I don't care of Bill banged half of Arkansas and Hillary banged the other half. I prefer a Clinton screwing to the Cheney-Bush screwing we've been getting for going on 7 years. And if you need a real twisted way of looking at things, now that they're rich Clintons, the world has far less to fear from them. Like 1992, 2008 will be a Clinton year.*

*assuming we have elections next year
