Watch that trench coat

According to Senator Paul Miller's current voice mail message, the Senate Judiciary Committee has endorsed a proposal that would make it a felony to expose yourself in public. The offense is currently a misdemeanor. More as it becomes available.

What higher office is he running for?
Just what is needed. Another ridiculous law which adds to jail/prison overcrowding.
There ought to be a law against Paul Miller.

Didn't he chair the committee that sold out to the payday lenders?

Blue Ridge and zelda will be the two strongest opponents to this. After all, entertainment is entertainment.....

Now what am I gonna do on the weekends?

They won't make abusing dogs, cars or horses a felony, but if someone sees someone's BODY PART they can be charged? Like maybe Janet Jackson's breast, who NO ONE could see without nano technology and/or the Hubble Telescope? WTF are these nimrods doing in elected office...oops, never mind.

...caTs...

Ok devilsA I got you covered. Just do it from your garage. Have a yard sale in front of your garage and stand inside in your trench coat. Use the remote to flip the door open at peak times. See his bill only
applies to "in public." Surely even Senator Miller wouldn't go after someone doing the dirty on private property.

Clik bluename for website

THANKS eL - all explained....Southern Baptist, NO email contact!

Anyone checked out lately that:
a) they LIST religious affiliation on a gov't website
b) at LEAST 28 (of 35) of these "pillars of democracy" are fundies?

WAY scarier than "all terrorist, all the time!"

perhaps i can wear a sock? it will be getting colder soon anyway...

wood: Sen. Miller would likely say that having a yard sale makes your property a public place or something. he should join the lady that hides maxim and SI at Wal-Mart because she considers it porn. they would be a force to be reckoned with!

Here's the latest Repub caught doing what apparently Repubs like doing.

Twenty first century trench coat warfare .. these fundies are getting desperate.

Obviously, MIller's wife hasn't enlightened him regarding the alternate use for limb loppers. If it offends thee . . .
It's a whole lot cheaper that putting up the offender in the cross bar hotel for a few years. Might even cut down on the next generation of offenders. Saaaay, anyone seen Jim Bob or whatever his name is in a trenchcoat?

I'm not sure what to make of your comment, Cato. Can you explain?

I would think that a state senator would have a lot more things to think about than something this stupid. But, Paul is not the brightest light in the city.

I posted that last night cato. You musta gone to bed b4 I did it. Maybe the GOP needs to save its
acronym and just change the words: Gay Old Party.
.

I had to sleep on this one last night because the ramifications of passing this bill could be enormous. No, for once I'm not talking about my best friend and yours, my most attractive physical feature, my penis. I don't let him out where strangers might see...I'm feeding enough animals at my house these days.

No, I'm worried about our troops. More specifically, I'm worried about our dead US troops. I'm afraid some big-bellied cop will be right there at their funerals (like a Phelps) arresting them in their caskets for exposing themselves. After all, if you've ever seen a picture of most of the people killed in the Iraq War for Oil, you'd know that tits and asses are baby steps in the world of exposure compared to one of the dead exposing their brain matter, their ripped open chests, and yards and yards of intestines blown out of their bodies.

Why if any of us saw that in person, we'd be hoping some perv in a raincoat would be standing there so we'd have some place to hide our heads. Lord god almighty...what those IEDs do to a human body!

So, if you love our troops, dead or alive and you love our country, torturing or not, you better hope this bill to make exposing yourself a felony doesn't pass. A troop is a terrible thing to waste...think how much more worse it would be if the cops arrested them for exposure before they were lowered into the ground. Think people!
