Bad night for a stroll
Three men were shot -- all say by an unknown person -- while walking last night in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Drive. Police release on the jump.

VICTIM – DAVID JONES, B/M, 1-2-1981, 2517 MARTIN LUTHER KING
VICTIM – ROBERT LASLEY, B/M, 5-24-1990, 3117 RINGO
VICTIM – ISHMEL OSLER, B/M, 7-11-1982, 3100 RINGO
INCIDENT DATE/TIME – 12-5-2007 AT 1920 HOURS
INCIDENT LOCATION – 2600 BLOCK OF MARTIN LUTHER KING
On 12-5-2007 officers responded to a shooting just occurred call in the area of 26th and Martin Luther King and made contact with David Jones. Jones was lying on his back suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower back. He advised he had been shot by an unknown subject. Jones was transported to a local Hospital by MEMS. Officers then received information that there was another victim, Robert Lasley. Lasley advised officers he had been shot by an unknown subject while in the area of 26th and Martin Luther King. Lasley sustained a gunshot wound to his jaw. He is currently being treated for his non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital. On 12-6-2007 at around 2 am officers received a call that there was another victim in this incident, Ismel Osler. He advised he sustained an abrasion to his lower leg which came from a gunshot. Osler stated he had been shot by an unknown subject. He was treated and then released from a local hospital. The victims were walking in the area when someone shot at them. No suspects or motive at this time.

eLwood, don't be a jackass. It was a bad day for Christmas shopping in Omaha, too. What's your point exactly? I know we have a crime problem here in Little Rock, but I'd still rather live here than in Chickenshit Holler.

Too bad this didn't happen in Hillcrest or at the River Market. If it had, perhaps the Usual Suspects would be grousing.
