McFadden will play

But the UA has no intention of explaining any of the details about that Escalade Heisman runnerup Darren McFadden has been trucking in. Its statement today:

“The University of Arkansas has conducted a thorough review of allegations reported in the media concerning Darren McFadden. Based upon the institution’s review, Mr. McFadden remains eligible and will participate in the 2008 AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic. The University will have no further comment regarding this matter.”

Whew, the UA investigation/coverup has finally concluded successfully.

kidding, of course

Go Darren Go! I hope this is the best game of your career!

we seem to play better in bowls when there is contriversy. with the dmac problem and the nutt situation i am hoping for the team to be fired up. i have been very impressed with reggie herron. for somebody who really wanted the head coaching job and didn't get it he has taken over and handled things with class. i think he has shown he has the stuff to be a head coach. if he wins maybe some athletic directors will notice that he is more than a screaming defensive coach.

In other news, The Bush White House today cleared every Republican in America of any crime or lack of manners they may have displayed since Herbert Hoover was in office after a thorough review of allegations.

Tomorrow, Joe McCarthy's censure will be reversed, Nixon's dead body will be returned to the White House to finish out his term under smell-proof glass. And Mark Foley will return to the Senate after the 1st of the year. A fleet of shiny new Escalades will be put at their disposal.

The north tower of Old Main will be torn down and replaced with a 5 story statue of Houston Nutt. In one hand he'll be shown with a cell phone calling channel 40, in the other hand will be the clock originally designed for the north tower back in 1871 which was scrapped after a boll weevil infestation ruined the crops. This has been a UA-Fox news break. Now back to our regularly scheduled program, already in progress.

The game means little. McFadden faces the possibility of serious injury that could completely alter his NFL prospective lucrative career while he is capable and maketable. For his sake he may have wished he was ruled inelgible.

Go Hogs Go!

Go Dmac!!!

Fire Bush!!!! please! Dayum-it!

I love the link at my blue name....
