There he goes again:

From Politico:

SLICK HUCK? Politico's Lisa Lerer catches a fib: In recent days, Mike Huckabee has tried to answer long-standing questions about who is on his foreign policy team.

On Friday morning, he listed former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton as someone with whom he either has "spoken or will continue to speak." At a Thursday evening press conference, Huckabee said, "I've corresponded with John Bolton, who's agreed to work with us on developing foreign policy." Bolton, however, has a different view. "I'd be happy to speak with Huckabee, but I haven't spoken with him yet," said Bolton, now a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank in Washington.

Frank Gaffney earlier had debunked Huckabee's claim of him as a go-to guy.

"I'm not an official or unofficial adviser to anyone," said Bolton, who mentioned he'd had conversations with other Republican candidates but refused to name any names. Asked to explain Bolton's comments, Huckabee aides said the former Arkansas governor had e-mailed with Bolton. Bolton did not immediately respond to a request to address Huckabee's e-mailing claims.

I don't know whether to be relieved it's just another Huck-a-lie or be alarmed as usual, that another dumb as rock GOPer, like Huck, is willing to rely on a PNAC War Criminal, John Bolton's advice..who has always been DEAD wrong.

If the road to hell is paved with good intentions.. what is the road paved in unnecessary innocent blood leading towards?

I suppose if a candidate said as many idiotic and ill nformed things about foreign affairs as Huck does I would be quick to make it clear that I wasn't advising him, too.

Even verifiable thugs like Bolton and Gaffney know when it's time to put some distance between themselves and a hillbilly liar who doesn't know where Pakistan is located or what a National Intelligence Estimate is.

Bolton and Gaffney have proved over and over they're willing to work for an evil moron, but not necessarily for a schlub who's simply a bumbling moron.

light brigade, that is the problem with huck, you cannot believe a thing that comes out of his mouth. i am sorry you think he is so wonderful but he is a serial liar and it is constant. regardless of the subject he lies about it. whether the % of black votes he got, who advises him, his degrees, do you begin to see a pattern here? if it was one thing it would be ok. the problem is, it is almost every subject he talks about. he cannot help but take what he wants to say and then add something that is not true to it.

CNN has a new poll up that has Huckabee falling into second place in Iowa--behind another lying nutcase.

Found this of interest, as my #1 hubby from Hope, and I spent way too much boring
time there.

lb i tried to make my post as nice as i can. i would appreciate a response. and by the way have a happy and very safe new year. i hope you do like we do and just stay home.
