Unloaded guns don't kill people

Arkansas State University's leading basketball scorer was suspended Sunday after being arrested for discharging a gun. Great alibi from Adrian Banks, quoted in the police report: “A fight was breaking out at the club, I found the gun on the ground and didn’t want anyone to get shot, so I shot the gun until it was empty.”

He is certainly a fast thinker.

Did his discharging break up the fight? Were teeth and nose cartilage saved? Did someone avoid getting kicked in the balls because this brave fellow discharged?

Glad there wasn't a line of coke on the table. He might have been compelled to snort it so no one else would get high.
