Who, me?

In the recent NY Times Magazine profile, Mike Huckabee said Frank Gaffney (here's wikipedia on the wild-eyed hawk Grover Norquist once called a "sick, little bigot") was one of the experts he looked to for guidance on foreign affairs. Gaffney (from whom Huckabee now has another good reason to distance himself) says about that:

Jeez, I'm torn here. Gaffney is described as a brainless thug by the bushies and he, in turn, calls them men without principles.

Looks like a win-win situation if Huckabee is getting his advice from an unprincipled bigot who describes his former puppetmasters Norquist and Rove as unprincipled ninnies.

Huckabee learns quick, or... he has different "priorities"

from the man who didn't know about the Iran/NIE when he should've, comes this...

DIKE, IOWA -- Baptist minister and anti-abortion supporter Mike Huckabee was asked today about 16-year old celebrity Jamie Lynn Spears' decision to continue her unplanned pregnancy.

While the candidate has been notably caught off-guard by breaking news events recently, today he passed a test of pop culture with flying colors.
