Huck calls home UPDATE

Mike Huckabee will make a pit stop in Northwest Arkansas at 4 tomorrow in between trips to Oklahoma and Missouri. No other details -- city, location, etc. -- except that the appearance is billed as a "Meet Mike Huckabee" rally. I imagine most people up there are pretty familiar already.

UPDATE: He'll swoop into the Tyson Hangar at the XNA airport in Bentonville. Don't expect him to stray too far from the tarmac: he has a 7 p.m. event in Springfield, MO.

Will there be fried chicken?

Oh my good heavens to Betsy! I thought the headline said Huck Called Home. Like he died or something! Oh my...what a scare! But ya know....as busy as he's been spreading God's word into our politics, I wouldn't be surprised if God didn't want him up in heaven to work at the home office. My wife's just now coming thru the door...I better alert her so she won't misread the headline and get such a scare too. Oh my.....

If Dick Cheney can come to NWA and raise money for Asa! then surely Huck can drop by for a pocket full or two.
DBI , I'm thinking Huck would rather be here on Earth so he can deer hunt with Jesus.

Does anybody know if he's gonna drop by the house here? If he is, I really need to tidy up a bit. And pick up some more beer. The other Baptists drank it all last time I was out of town.

Ya know, I have lived in Arkansas for 18 years. I saw the Clintons probably 50-60 times, but I have never laid eyes upon the Huckster.
I don't think I'll worry about him dropping by my house.
Rick, love your column in the Batesville paper......and your posts on this blog.

On the evening of July 20, a concerned aunt drove her 26-month-old nephew to a Department of Human Services office in Little Rock to show caseworkers the bruises on his buttocks and back. The child had been spending the night at his aunt's when she changed his diaper and discovered the marks. /more/
