Jim Bob on the job

Jim Bob Duggar does a little guerilla campaigning, confronting Mitt Romney in Iowa about Massachusetts' coverage of abortions in a health insurance program. Courtesy of the Duggar family website is this photograph of Duggar family planning strategy. Also: See "Quiverfull."

I figure Jim Bob could run Mormon Mitt plumb out of the race for the White House if instead of mere words, he just started chunking Duggar kids at Mitty Boy. I'm sure a Mormon can't take more than 4 or 5 head hits by flung kid bodies before they go down.

Maybe one of them automatic pitching machines could be modified to throw Duggar kids at 90 mph. Ouch! Jim Bob can save America by putting his flying kid's bodies where his mouth is! Do it for America! Fling a Duggar kid at a Mormon today!

Santa should have brought those people a big box of rubbers--and I don't mean galoshes.

That photo gives me the heebie-jeebies...

"shudder"...

Yeah, Jim Bob certainly couldn't take Mitt's pizza....might be laced with birth control. And doesn't Jim Bob have 58 kids to support? How does he have the time to go harrass poor Mitt?

Can't we send them to China? They know how to handle a situation like this.....

Being Catholic (formerly), I am not as enthralled as many about the Duggar quantity. Although I do not personally know any family with 18 kids I do personally know a few families with over a dozen and quite a few of 10 or more.

As a child we believed that although we could not outsmart many other families we sure could out number them.

One of these kids is bound to have a rebelious streak and odds are that at least one will not be heterosexual and when that happens I expect vicious attacks on those poor kids because of their parents political positions.

People, when that happens, cut the kids some slack and not tar the kids with the sins of the father.

I can spot the future homosexual in that photo from a minimum of 50 feet!

HINT: Boys don't pop a knee and put their hands on their hips ala supermodel unless there is a recessed "swish in the step" gene.

Wide Stance? Ha! I'll say!

Jim Bob Duggar had a farm; E-I-E-I-O......and on this farm he had some kids.....E-I-E-I-O
With a stepford kid here and a stepford kid there...E-I-E-I-O
And on his farm he had a sow E-I-E-I-O. What a piece of work that jackass is....using kids as a political tool to gain attention. He should get struck in the balls by a bolt of lightning and she should grow shut. That whole bunch disgusts me.

"I can spot the future homosexual in that photo from a minimum of 50 feet!"

Takes one to know one? Rosie Grier was well known for his hobbies of needlepoint and macrame, practices not normally associated with big ole burly professional football players. Does that make him gay? And if he's gay, so what? But back to the topic at hand, somebody oughta try talking Jim Bob into pickling his pecker.

My Dad came from a family of 13, twins who died at birth, a sister who died at 18, his favorite, another who died at birth and a favorite uncle at 34. That however was from the time of no medical care and a dirt poor farmer who needed help to chop & pick cotten. Yeah this will be a family that has a lot of problems as the younger ones get older. Some of the kids will leave and never come back, they got no identity, bet a dollar to a dough nut that little groups have already formed within, too bad. Ms. Duggar has put herself at physical risk and could be a physical wreck by the time she is 55-60. From what I have read it takes about 2 years for a woman to fully recover from childbirth and having so many, well...not good. Yeah kids are a blessing, but sometimes the cup runneth over, Jim Bob needs to be introduced to Lorena Bobbit. As for the kids, I hope they can make it through successfully.

So this family isn't like yours or mine. So what? Are they doing something illegal? They have a right to a big family if they want. She can put herself at physical risk if she wants, it's her body. Even if Jim Bob and Michelle don't tolerate other people's "alternative" families, it doesn't mean we shouldn't tolerate theirs. That's sorta what tolerance is about.
