Mike Huckabee's Murderers Row
An anonymous filmmaker adds the names of a couple more freed murderers (with Huckabee connections) to that of Wayne Dumond on the list of dubious decisions Mike Huckabee made on clemency. They've been well documented.
And thanks to Mondo Freaks for this link, which I'd just heard about Thursday. A send up on Huckabee's clemencies to the tune "Yesterday." To wit: "Clemency ... why he'd let them go he wouldn't say" ... "You can kill your whole damn family and Huckabee might set you free." Give it a spin.

This one is worth a look too.

He should have 666 stamped on his forehead, along with bushvice.
Mark it well and remember....EVIL is very seductive and beguilling, same as temptation.
Nice to look at, fun to be with, dimples, makes us laugh with his quick wit, draws us in his
web ever so gently, cares for us more than anyone ever has or ever will, gonna gain the
whole world then heaven to boot...........
Some folks have it all wrong,,,,Satan is not the ugly fork tailed, horned beast we all remember
from sunday school or halloween.....more like the wolf in sheeps clothing.....
THE BETTER TO EAT YOU WITH, MY DEAR.

Well...both videos are brilliant! Obviously us regular folks don't know what pressures come to bear on the one in the Governor's seat. How do we know who calls or why or what kind of friends or money can be made by setting loose a convict on the general population. Wouldn't it be great to know this kind of information? Might it explain a whole lot? Guess the West Memphis 3 didn't have Huck's number and it looks like they can't find Beebe in the phone book either.
It's the Huckabee eyes that are very telling. The man doesn't have normal eyes. I think they're twin portals of evil. If not evil, they're showing bat-shit crazy with every blink. If it wasn't money that moved Mike Huckabee to free so many from prison, it has to be some crazy Christ-born idea he's not sharing with us. Maybe in his mind and the mind of old Jay Cole he's freeing foot soldiers for the Apocalypse? I don't remember seeing anything in the Bible about convicts carrying the returning Christ on their shoulders, but maybe I missed something?
You'd think worrying about all those aborted babies would take up so much time, Huck couldn't be bothered with rapist trapped like rats and missing the opportunity to serve God up in Missouri. Ouch! So Wayne didn't turn out so well. It doesn't appear to have hurt our high-flying Huckster as he jets around the country sucking up Love Offerings from the well-heeled Republican Christian sheep.
I have to wonder what Huck's vision of America is.....his true vision, his pre-Rapture vision he's worked out with his buddy Jay Cole? Damn....it's just too scary to think about on this rainy Saturday afternoon. Good thing the Republican Party will avert God's will and not crown Huck king in the end. We really should be using these pixels to worry about Mark Pryor.
Unless someone comes out of the woodwork, Mark Pryor will be reelected and get to continue his Bush-Lieberman warmongering-torture agenda for another 6 years. Arkansas doesn't have to worry about a Huck in the White House. But we better worry about our worst gift to the nation and the world, another 6 years of Mark Pryor....now that's a crime with no clemency possible. Forget the harmless Huckabee Circus and concentrate on the worst person we've ever sent to Congress. Anyone But Pryor '08!

Fine videos, to be sure.
There's a little nugget in the first one for Doug Smith's column: Prisoners who are trusted enough to work at places like the Governor's Mansion are trusties (emphasis on the first syllable), not trustees. I see the incorrect form in print more often than the correct way, and it's almost always mispronounced.

Just curious - Of all the other clemencies Huckabee granted, were there any others that turned out as bad as Dumond - or was this just one really bad error that will never be forgotten (as well it shouldn't be!)
Since Dumond (the rapist/dirtbag) was not only incarcerated for his crime, but also sexually mutilated with the apparent blessing (or encouragement) of the state (hur-ry, hur-ry, hur-ry, step right up in see the famous testiclesinajar on the sheiff's desk!), maybe that entered in to Huckabee's clemency decision.
Since Huckabee absurdly and arrogantly won't share his thoughts, we'll never know his justification.
If Dumond was a model inmate, many would have said he should be released at some point to make room for a sorrier violent cretin. Was he a model inmatel that appeared rehabilitated?
Many bleeding hearts argue that it is better to not risk convicting a guilty b****** than to risk the statistically small chance of convicting an innocent person. Then the guilty, unconvicted b****** hurts someone else thanks to the bleeding heart judge or juror that wouldn't convict the b****** the first time.
So, this is the risk - assuming Dumond had convincingly demonstrated remorse and rehabilitation, you don't find out it is all an act until you release him and he proves you wrong, dead wrong.
20/20 hindsight.
Any other governors (or presidents) grant clemency to unworthy criminals, financial supporters, frauds or ne'er do wells? Any of them commit crimes again? Or going to?

I'm so glad to see "Dear Wayne" jumping out of the grave and biting poor ol' Mike on the ass at every turn! Maybe Wayne did gain some type of immortality.

So, Max is a strange bedfellow of some republican operatives.. (Oh, the Ark journal. I will continue the post as if I discovered something peculiar.)
That video only has around 1400 views right now, and 12 comments (fairly high). All those comments that bash on Huck are positively rated, by 9 or more people, each. The person who posted that video has been a member for 13 hours.
