One year and counting

Comments

Russert just reminded me, Jan.20, 09,,,,bye bye to the evil ones.............
but, I'm holding my breath,,,,afraid they are not thru FKing us yet, still a year to work
their dark deeds.

Russert made one of the funniest faux-pas' last night (i damn near spilled my beer)

he said "Bill Clinton will campaign next week, door-to-door, in South Africa"

oh... the mind is a terrible thing (especially Big Russ' son's)

can't wait to hear DBI on this thread.

I'm wondering how long President Shit for Brains will have to be out of office before he's Reaganized...before some future Dem spouts crap like this:

'I don't want to present myself as some sort of singular figure. I think part of what's different are the times...I think George W. Bush changed the trajectory of America in a way that his father did not and in a way that Bill Clinton did not. He put us on a fundamentally different path because the country was ready for it. I think they felt like with all the excesses of the 1990's and government had grown and grown but there wasn't much sense of accountability in terms of how it was operating...'

Boy Russert's gang was in full Conservative Media mode this morning. (I keep watching thinking I'm gonna find that mythical liberal media.) McCain's the darling...gonna unite the country...never mind it'll be in endless war; Obama gets reverent words/tone and kudos for acknowledging how great Reagan was (why it's a historical fact...puke); and the Clintons, well, the country doesn't want anymore of their divisive crap.

At least George S. mixed things up when he added The Nation's editor, Katrina vanden Heuvel, to his lineup. She called the media out for its McCain love affair, his culpability in Monkeyboy's disastrous presidency; and said when the voters realized he already had an Iran-war gang going and fully intended to be in Iraq for 100 years, they would say no. Whether she's correct or not, it's nice to hear a different point of view. She is correct, of course.

I wish Max would let us post pictures rather than links because I would be pastin' some Wizard of Whimsy pics of the Decider up here. This artist is the best at capturing Bush in his chimpie-ness I've seen.

/try link at name

Considering the Hague no longer uses the death penalty for war criminals I thought little boy George ought to be sentenced to life as an orderly in a ward of the VA serving bed pans to shattered bodied Vets.. But he is truly unqualified to handle even a Vets bed pan... so I will continue to visualize orange jumpsuits and heavy bars for genocide George in a cell with no light for all eternity. This is the very least we can and should do...

In 364 days he can do more damage than we can imagine. Salon reports:

Jan. 17, 2008 | By 2050, two-thirds of the world's polar bears will have vanished, as a result of global warming melting their icy habitat, according to scientists at the U.S. Geological Survey.
...
But critics say that Fish and Wildlife hasn't made a ruling yet because another agency within the Department of Interior, the Minerals Management Service, is on the verge of handing out oil and gas leases in vast swaths of the polar bears' remaining habitat.

Write both our senators, forget Boozman and his form letters.

oh... the mind is a terrible thing (especially Big Russ' son's)<<
muleboy

In Russert's case, "The mind is a terrible thing to waste."

Thx Rev Mojo!

You really think we'll be free of Bush and his puppeteers in one year? A year free of "unexpected" terrorist attacks to which we "must" respond and declare martial law? A year free of another rigged election?

Hope you're right, troops.

Well, Rev, I would state adamantly that the Wizard is no Bushivick.

Heh, glad you cats liked it.

Wizard of Whimsy rocks hard.
