Swing state blues

NY Times surveys Arkansas and Tennessee, anecdotally, and finds little enthusiasm for the the leading Democratic candidates, particularly against John McCain.

Geez - go into the "racists' heartland," interview Buford Pusser, chuckle at "Obama-Osama" and reveal a common ignorance, THEN draw far-reaching conclusions????

BRILLIANT!!

Here's an interesting read on what's happening over on Fox News. Click on Cato

I at least understand any lack of enthusiasm for Hillary in Arkansas. She was all too eager to leave Arkansas in her rear-view mirror. But us Arkies apparently have such a complex for attention, that if she will just occasionally look our way and maybe pat us on the head, we will wag our tails and run around her in circles.

Ohhh...THANK YOU for that link, Cato!

The sad truth is I know several of those 'characters' in the story...all with varying degrees of anti-something. Most are what the media call Independents with Republican leanings or just Republican. Most are so disgusted with Monkeyboy and this War that they would consider voting for the 'Bitch.' None will vote for Obama. It's not right, but it's reality. And their 'prejudices' stem more from things like his name and his oh-so mysterious, eclectic background than from the color of his skin. He's too different...but a bitch woman is something they're familiar with, if not happy with. Ignoring the ugly realities doesn't make them any less real.

On the brighter side...most now know that he's not a Muslim and he didn't disrespect our flag. I just keep chipping away...

I don't know, zelda. I'm constantly hearing all the "he was sworn in on the Koran, his father was a radical Muslim, he attends a seperatist church..." nonsense everywhere I turn. The propaganda put out about him is brutal.

Thanks spot-on-Cato. I watched FAUX last nite when they interviewed Hillary? They asked her 3 questions which were nothing but insult questions. After watching her graceful and thoughtful replies I'm fairly sure she won my vote. I can also detect that Scorpio vengence in her when she appoints her FCC.
Roger Ailes should be on Tums. Maybe he should be trying to find another country. Maybe he should buy himself one silver bullet.

>>hearing all the "he was sworn in on the Koran, his father was a radical Muslim, he attends a seperatist church..." <<

That's the certifiable crazy Wingnut Choir at work. At least Barack doesn't go to Saudi Arabia, home of the 9/11 hijackers, and hold hands with princes and kiss them. If Monkey boy keeps it up I expect his tongue to go deep into their throats. After all, they've got their paws deep into his ass. And what's so sad about it all is that Monkey Boy enjoys it.
