The morning Huck
FUDGE FACTOR: The Washington Post fact-checker discovers that The Huckster has been badly exaggerating his job creation record in Arkansas.
HAI KARATE: South Carolina Republicans turn out for Chuck Norris and wrestler Ric Flair. The Huckster also waved the Rebel flag issue around and a pro-Dixie group is lauding him in ads, shown above. ABC saw the flag gambit as a blatant pander. No kidding. The flag event also was the occasion for more anal humor from The Huckster. After fart jokes, constipation and laxative references he now offers the suggestion of a rod up someone's rear. Do you think there's maybe an unhealthy fixation here? Wonkette also wonders why conservatives spend so much time thinking about bestiality.
GOD'S CANDIDATE: Here's a roundup of religion issues emerging in the Huckabee campaign, both from his own words and the even farther-out beliefs (stoning advocated) of his cadre of religious extremist supporters. There are internal links to articles on Huckabee's ties to Israel and Joe Conason's commentary on Huckabee's idea to rewrite the Constitution from a Biblical perspective.
'QUEEN OF FUN': That would be Janet Huckabee.
JESUS JUICE: Jim Holt surfaces with an op-ed in NW Ark. Times. You'll have to copy and paste to avoid the pay-only site:

If I told you that Mike Huckabee has raised more taxes, grown more government, supported more bureaucratic control of our schools, pardoned more criminals, helped bring in more illegal immigrants, and been more duplicitous in 10 years than Bill Clinton was in 12, would you feel betrayed ?
He can talk all he wants, but his record is who he is.
If Mike Huckabee does not practice what he preaches, does he betray himself, the denomination of GOP conservatism, and us ?

OMG! I'm usually not cruel but Huck's mouth configuration looks like a used hooker's fun anatomy!

"If Mike Huckabee does not practice what he preaches,"
And who does, may I ask?

I wonder if the differing opinions on Huck are causing a rift between Holt and Jim Bob.

WOW - who wudda thunk it - SOMETHING the Holtster said we can AGREE with!!
He also quotes a Huckobot: "He's a Baptist minister; you don't need to ask what he stands for."
Well, consider Fred Phelps; he are one too. These Stepford small-c christians are reproducing at an alarming rate - YIKES!!!

Ya know, with the Repukes constant going's on about 'unnatural' sex acts, I think it's not actually revulsion driving them, but desire.
If any South Calinkies are missing a flag pole, look up Huckster's keister.

Boy, it's hard to work all this out in yer head. Huckabee is a religious wacko, yet he isn't wacko enough to please the likes of the Jim Holts of the world. Think.....think....Huckabee is to Holt what Ferdinand Marcos was to Joe Stalin. OK...that works.
Huckabee is to Holt what Jack Benny's fiddle playing was to Yahoodi Menuin.
Huckabee is to Holt what Rex Humbard was to David Koresh. Yes, lord, yes
Huckabee is to Holt what Rock Hudson was to Richard Simmons.
Oh this is fun! You' all should try it!

The Huck would support the flying or the Confederate flag over the S.C. state capitol. Did I read that right? Check out this article:
http://youdecide08.foxnews.com/2008/01/17/mike-huckabee-flying-conferedate-flag-should-be-south-carolinas-choice/
If so, he just lost an entire society/community of support.

gotta give Huckabee credit here.. killer joke/straddle/ambiguity
saying "it should be left up to y'all, y'all" while having Beasley stand behind him, allows everyone who hears him to believe what they want to (for or agin')

Yep, James. HuckaBush played the pandering card again to get the SC religious wackos out in numbers, and backed the flag (a very contentious issue in the state). A pro-flag group has been running around doing his dirty work for him there in return for being in his good graces. It may backfire on him, but I wouldn't hold my breath. He continues to get his free pass from the media on just about everything. He's taking a gamble that everyone will forget about it by the Florida primary, and he might actually be right. The American people tend to have short memory spans.

Max needs to get in touch with Joe Scarborough (Morning Joe), who, based on what I heard this morning, is apparently under the mistaken impression that Huck does not try to shut down reporters who are critical of him.

rich lowry dissects the Huck...
"Who knew a candidate of Christian identity politics would be afforded such respect? But Huckabee has managed it, which is one reason why he should open a strategic-communications firm the day after he leaves the presidential race. The ability to gull analysts into making so much from so little is a rare and potentially lucrative talent."

For Jesus Jim Holt to break the silence and assassinate one of his Cousins-in-god is proof that unity in America will be a long-time a'comin. There's not only open warfare between major parties there's open hostilities within each party. I know if Mr Magic of Chicago fails in his nomination bid I will hold my nose and X for Ms. Experience and that won't make me feel good. However there are two SCOTUS appointees who will likely step down in the coming 4 years.
Keep in mind after winning the Ark Demo-Gazette's award of the "Worst Legislator of the Year"
Jesus Jim Holt's response was "I wear it as a badge of honor."
James since you appear to be new to Huckpolitik just watch for what he will say when,if ever, he is
confronted about the Rebel flag issue. 'Well, they just took that wrong. I didn't mean the flag should be shown OVER the U.S. flag' or some spin like that will be delivered in Midwest or West should the ocassion arise.
